As President of ARG Roofing and Construction, Ryan Tovey focuses on delivering excellence in every project. Ryan has called Omaha home for 12 years, and it’s where he and his wife are raising their family. His deep roots in the area fuel his passion for helping local homeowners and businesses protect their greatest investments with craftsmanship they can trust.
I have been around the roofing industry since 1990. I began by installing residential and commercial roofing for a roofing company that belonged to my church. I then began my own construction business in upstate New York and then Vermont. In 1996 my first son was born and I went to work for Home Depot where I spent the next 8 years selling everything from roofing projects to flowers!
We then moved our family to Omaha in 1999 to open the first Home Depot in Nebraska. From there I did a “tour of duty” as an assistant manager for Walmart and Lowes. In 2007, I joined Chicago Lumber as an outside sales rep. selling commercial building material to the big companies like Kiewit and Hawkins Construction. In 2010 I began as the regional director for Spec Building Materials which is a residential and commercial roofing company in Omaha. In 2013 I met the then-owners of AGR roofing. After spending the next couple years servicing the AGR account, they challenged me to make a move that would open up a “sky’s the limit” opportunity, and a couple months later I took the leap and joined the AGR team in 2015.
In my career with AGR I have sold and finished over 1,000 different projects and look forward to the next 1000! This is by far the most challenging and rewarding career I could have ever imagined. Everyday offers something new. and there is no better feeling in my business life than helping a homeowner transform their home!
I have a large family, 7 kids, 3 dogs (kids with 4 paws), and a beautiful new granddaughter. And of course my beautiful wife Marlene who is my backbone. I love to work out, and believe in challenging myself physically and mentally.
With a background in Human Services, Alex brings a heart for helping others to every job site. He loves working with homeowners and will do all he can to make sure the roofing process goes smoothly from start to finish. When he’s not working, he’s all about spending time with his two daughters.
I’ve been with AGR since 2019 and love that my office is my truck! I enjoy assisting people with their roofing and construction needs, and developing trusting relationships with my customers.Occasionally, my 4 year old Great (but mostly just ok) Dane, Murphy will join me on the jobsite!
I’m a 5th generation Nebraskan, my family homesteaded here in the 1860’s. I graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1992 with a degree in Advertising/Marketing. I’ve been married for 25 years and have two beautiful, talented daughters Ages 21 and 17 (they take after their mother).
In my past life I was a DJ, owned a bar, was a graphic artist/3D animator, worked for Harley-Davidson for 12 years, am a certified firearms instructor, and now I’m climbing the ladder of a reputable local roofing company to explore new heights! The greatest compliment to me is receiving a positive review and/or referrals from a satisfied customer!

I was born and raised in Lincoln, and am a 4th generation Nebraskan from a long line of self-employed business owners. I graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1990 with a degree in English Literature. I’ve been involved with construction since high school and also worked with children and adults with special needs for 25 years . I have a son in the Navy and a daughter finishing college in Lincoln.
I treat every project I am on with the care and attention to detail they deserve. I have a lot of experience working with insurance companies on catastrophic loss claims in the Midwest and enjoy meeting people and creating relationships for future work.
In my spare time, I enjoy working on older houses, including the one I currently live in that was built in 1888 in Ashland.
I look forward to helping each of my clients successfully navigate their roofing project and ensuring they are more than satisfied with the results.
I was born and raised in Fremont, NE and am currently living there again after spending the last 12 years in Omaha. I attended Fremont High School and went on to the University of Nebraska-Omaha where I got my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Professionally, I spent five years working with youth at the Omaha Home for Boys. After that I spent another five years working as a Family Teacher at Boys Town. During this time I have done a lot of personal training, officiating, and coaching. Working for AGR is a big change in career paths for me but my goal is to help people in a totally different way!
Rony started as a roof installer, he bring this experience and knowledge to production management at AGR Roofing & Construction.
He moved his family to Omaha over 8 years ago and thinks it’s the best place to raise a family. He loves to play sports, especially baseball and brings that team player attitude and problem solving to the roof business.
Spending time with family is most important to Rony. Rony brings our team together just like his big family.
Omaha born, Aaron has been with AGR Roofing & Construction for over 6 years and has been in the roofing industry for over 8 years! Our customers value Aaron for his processing over 18 million in volume for their insurance claims.
When not processing roof insurance claims, Aaron can be found on a skateboard or making finance moves in the stock market.
I’ve lived in Iowa for almost my entire life, except for a brief time spent in Kansas City. After starting college in 2010, I began roofing that summer
and liked doing it so much, I stuck with it and never stopped. My first job was as a laborer in flat roofing and since then I’ve moved my way up.
My favorite part of roofing is having a satisfied customer and the view from the rooftop. In my spare time, I like hunting and fishing or going to parks with my dog. I also like going to football games (go Chiefs!).
Jordan has called Omaha his home since moving here as a baby from upstate New York. You probably recognized Jordan as Omaha’s own rapper, Jay Influential. Jordan loves watching sports but definitely can’t play them. All summer you can catch him grilling on his blackstone or fishing at a lake. He loves helping customers understand the roofing process and getting them the roofing help they need.
August brings a lively personality and hands-on experience to his new role as Project Manager at AGR Roofing. With a strong background as a production manager, August knows what it takes to keep projects running smoothly and efficiently. His love for the outdoors—especially fishing and spending time by the water—translates into his calm, focused approach to challenges. Known for his outgoing nature and sharp sense of humor, August is not only a skilled professional but also someone who makes the workday more enjoyable for everyone around him.
Soren is a proud father of three and a true family man. With a background in sports—ranging from basketball and football to baseball—he brings the same energy and teamwork to every job. Isabella and her two Great Pyrenees, Bear and Kai, live in Elkhorn. You can find her cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs all football season long. She is crazy for tacos, especially from a truck, if you know a good taco spot or a great book, let her know.
