About Jason
I have been in the construction industry since 2000. While in college I worked both residential and commercial and learned everything from foundations, framing, carpentry and roofs.
While going to school and working full-time I managed to find time to tour the country with my 3 metal bands, where I played drums, guitar and vocals. We played various size shows from festivals, colleges, bars, music venues and even a barn. Although we were signed to a record label with a regional following we never made it big, but it was a time I would never give up or forget.
After graduating college, I married my wife Christina. We have been together 21 years and married 17. I then joined the military and served 9 years active duty. During that time, my 2 children were born and are now 12 and 14. I had careers as a Chinese Airborne Linguist, Tactical Support Operator, and a Career Field Instructor. I served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and earned 2 more degrees in Education and Science & Engineering.
After nine years in the military I decided to separate and taught Chinese as a government contractor. In 2015, I decided to start my own residential construction company & also joined the Air National Guard. I did projects that were as small as replacing a light fixture, to as large as a whole house interior remodel. I started my company as a 1 man show, became a licensed home inspector and grew it to 2 technicians and an office administrator. After 7 years and thousands of projects I decided it was time to move on from what I had grown and hone in my skill set in the roofing industry.
